With rockabilly roots and a heartache, honky-tonk voice, Kelly Willis effortlessly combines the storytelling and strings aspects of country music and the driving force of rock. Her vocal and songwriting talent pioneered both the Americana and the young Texas country scene with her debut album in 1990, and has since, over the course of five more albums, proven how can do everything from contemporary to traditional and beyond with finesse, intelligence. , and an irresistible charm.
