Visitors to the State Fair can ride the DART Rail Green Line at two stations – Fair Park Stationlocated on Parry Avenue at the entrance to the Parc des Expositions, and MLK Station, Jr., located south of RB Cullum Blvd. and convenient to the MLK Fairgrounds entrance (Gate 6).
Use Trinity Railway Express
State Fair visitors can take the Trinity Railway Express from any of ten Tarrant County or Dallas County stations to connect to the DART Rail Green Line in Dallas.

Denton County Train A
Traveling from Denton County? Take the A train from any of the five stations and change to the DART green line at Trinity Mills.

Rideshare – Uber/Lyft
The rideshare pickup/drop-off area is conveniently located just inside Gate 5. When you’re ready to head home, exit the lot to meet your vehicle outside of Gate 5.
Taxi pick-up/drop-off
The taxi stand is conveniently located at the intersection of Pacific and Gurley, just outside Gate 1.
Business hours
The State Fair of Texas will run from Friday, September 30 through Sunday, October 23, 2022. A daily schedule of all shows and events will be published on this website or can be found in the visitor’s guide distributed at each of the information booths located in the fairgrounds.
Doors open daily at 9 a.m.
Exhibit buildings, outdoor exhibits and food concessions are open:
10 a.m. to 9 p.m. – Sunday to Thursday
10 a.m. to 10 p.m. – Friday and Saturday
Midway and museum hours vary daily.
The performance schedule of the headliners on the Chevrolet Main Stage is announced every summer. The daily schedule of all activities and events is continually updated as new shows and attractions are added to the State Fair lineup.
