JMU announces sold-out sale for Oct. 1 family weekend game against Texas State


James Madison Athletics announced Monday that all tickets for its Oct. 1 football game against Texas State have been sold out. In addition, all student tickets have been claimed. The Family Weekend game represents the first Sun Belt Conference home game for the program.

Fans wishing to attend should visit StubHub, the official secondary ticket market for JMU Athletics. A game time and television network for this game will be announced on Monday afternoon.

In addition to the Texas State game, the Oct. 22 Homecoming game against Marshall is nearing a sellout. Tickets remain for the Nov. 19 game against Georgia State and the Nov. 26 game against Coastal Carolina. Schedules for all remaining matches will be announced by ESPN and the Sun Belt on Monday, 12 days before each contest.

Single tickets for the remaining matches are available online at or by calling 540-568-3853. By purchasing online, fans can use a seat selection map to choose their exact seats.

In-person single-game ticket sales are available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the JMU Athletics Box Office at the entrance of the Atlantic Union Bank Center with parking available at the Ballard Parking Deck. The box office will be closed on Friday 23 September.

Student tickets for the remaining matches on October 22, November 19 and November 26 will be available on Mondays, 12 days before each match.

The 2022 football season is presented by CarMax.
