Get ready for 2023 with official Texas State Parks Centennial Merchandise


AUSTIN Celebrate Texas State Parks 100th Anniversary in style as you hit the trails in 2023. Starting today, park lovers can purchase official Texas State Parks 100th Anniversary Celebration merchandise at a state park or on the Texas Department of Parks and Wildlife website.

“We are thrilled to unveil our Centennial Celebration product line, which has been designed to commemorate every state park in Texas as we approach 2023,” said Thomas Wilhelm, Chief Marketing and Brand Officer for Texas Parks. State of Texas. “Our parks will be buzzing with activity throughout the centennial celebration, and we encourage all Texans to get out and explore both new parks and old favorites.”

Products included in this product launch include:

>> 100 Year Celebration Mug – This 14 oz ceramic coffee mug has the names of all 89 Texas state parks printed on the side along with some iconic park features from across the state. Ideal for enjoying a hot drink while camping.

>> 100 Year Scratch Poster – This 16″ x 20″ scratch off map helps visitors keep track of state parks left on their travel bucket lists.

>> Centennial Edition Passport – These 100-page spiral passports allow people to keep track of the parks they’ve explored. Each Texas state park has a unique park cachet. How many stamps will you be able to collect in 2023?

>> 100 Years Lapel Pin – This special edition lapel pin will brighten up any costume or lapel pin collection and features the new 100th Anniversary design.

“Customers have long requested a stampable passport program,” Wilhelm said. “The new passport booklet has dedicated pages for each state park, and visitors will be able to obtain a unique stamp at each state park in Texas.”

These products are the first wave of 100-year merchandise, Wilhelm added, but TPWD will unveil additional products and designs throughout the year-long celebration.
